Managers - Financial Services Risk Management

As a Manager in EY’s Financial Services Risk Management practice, you will play a key role in delivering integrated risk management and regulatory consulting services to clients across banking, capital markets, insurance, and asset management sectors. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and implement risk frameworks that enhance business performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements focused on enterprise risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and compliance risk management.
• Develop and improve risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide strategic advice on risk identification, measurement, mitigation, and monitoring to support clients’ business objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory compliance and quantitative services to deliver integrated solutions.
• Help grow the Financial Services Risk Management team by identifying potential business opportunities and fostering client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
• Stay informed about evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging risks impacting the financial services industry.
• Contribute to thought leadership and participate in industry forums.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Experience risk management or regulatory consulting within financial services is valued; exposure to banking or related sectors is a plus.
• Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks, including CRD, MiFID II, and/or AIFMD. Working experience in these areas will be considered an asset.
• Understanding of enterprise risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and compliance risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to or lead risk management projects and manage client relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Interest or experience in digital transformation and its impact on risk and regulatory functions is beneficial.
