The opportunity

We are seeking an energetic and people-focused professional to lead EY Malta's student engagement and early talent initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with students and educational institutions, representing an employer brand, delivering presentations and workshops, and creating engaging talent attraction programmes. The role sits within the Talent team and provides exposure to broader HR activities.

In this role, you will report to the HR Manager.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, the key responsability will be, but is not limited to:

• Act as EY's Student Programme Champion, building and maintaining relationships with universities, colleges and student organisations.
• Represent EY at career fairs, university events, networking activities and employer branding initiatives.
• Deliver presentations, workshops and careers sessions to students and graduates.
• Design and coordinate student engagement campaigns and talent attraction initiatives.
• Lead the planning and execution of EY's internship and work placement programmes.
• Coordinate the summer internship programme, including onboarding, training and participant experience.
• Support graduate and student recruitment activities.
• Support broader Talent and HR initiatives as required.

Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    A minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or program management.
•    A passion for student recruitment, with prior experience in recruitment marketing or a desire to learn.
•    Experience of public speaking/ delivering workshops.
•    Experience organising events, networking activities or outreach initiatives would be considered an asset. 
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
•    Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
•    Strong social media and employer branding awareness would be an advantage.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•    A passion for talent development and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce.
•    A strong work ethic and high integrity.
•    A meticulous approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
•    A self-starter mentality, requiring minimal supervision.
•    A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
