We are supporting leading organisations, including financial services clients, in delivering large-scale data transformation programmes, with a focus on data governance, regulatory data and modern cloud-based data platforms.
As a Data Architect, you will lead the design of modern, cloud-based data architectures aligned to governance, scalability and enterprise requirements. You will work closely with both business and technology stakeholders to define data models, integration patterns and platform architecture, ensuring that data is reliable, governed and fit for purpose.
This role offers the opportunity to shape strategic data platforms that underpin transformation programmes and long-term data capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design enterprise data architecture and data platforms
  • Define data models, integration and transformation strategies
  • Ensure alignment with governance, lineage and audit requirements
  • Work with business and technology teams
Skills and Attributes
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture and data modelling
  • Strong understanding of data architecture patterns (data lake, warehouse, lakehouse, mesh)
  • Experience designing enterprise data platforms on cloud environments (Azure preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, integration and transformation techniques
  • Experience aligning architecture to governance, lineage and auditability requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Certifications (optional)
 
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
  • DAMA CDMP
  • Databricks Certification
