The Opportunity 

 

As a member of the Corporate and Immigration team you will be assisting with the offering of professional services to local and global clients of the firm. You will work in an integrated manner and collaborate with other EY business units to offer to clients complete service solutions. Our aim is that your work and contribution to the team will bring many advantages to our clients, to us and to you.

 

From a Corporate Services perspective you will be involved in assisting the Firm in connection with local and global clients’ corporate administration, drafting and submission of corporate statutory documents to the Malta Business Registry, and handling internal formalities relating to client acceptance and continuance procedures.

 

As for immigration services, you will also have the opportunity to work with global clients to understand and address some of their largest and most complex people-related challenges and ultimately improve and drive valuable and sustainable business results. We focus on engagements that relate to performance, talent, systems, reward, mobility and analytics. Supported by a highly integrated network of professionals, our teams provide support and advice on global immigration issues as well as obtaining the relevant permits and other documentation. We assist clients in business immigration compliance, business immigration advisory and global immigration co-ordination. The incumbent assists our internal and external clients in dealing with local immigration issues.

 

Corporate Responsibilities:

 

  • Draft and submit statutory forms and documents (including Annual Returns) to the Malta Business Registry (MBR)
  • Maintain updated database for corporate clients
  • Liaise with the Malta Business Registry for and on behalf of clients.
  • Perform internal independence and conflicts checks and handle relative internal processes
  • Assist with day‑to‑day administrative tasks related to client engagements, including basic documentation, record‑keeping, and general support activities.

 

 

Immigration Responsibilities:

  • Prepare relevant documents for immigration application
  • Advice on engagement portfolio effectively
  • Maintain database for clients' immigration information
  • Maintain good relationships with local Immigration Officer
  • Liaise with the Maltese immigration authorities, for and on behalf of clients.
  • Assist with day‑to‑day administrative tasks related to client engagements, including basic documentation, record‑keeping, and general support activities

 

 

  • A-level qualifications
  • Diploma in Business Administration would be considered an advantage
  • Good written, IT and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in a compliance team would also be considered an advantage
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy
