Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to engineer and manage cloud resources and automate deployments.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation tasks using scripting languages.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
• Implementation and maintenance of containerized environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux environments to ensure SLAs are met.
• Ability to apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Skills and Attributes for Success
• Proven track record and experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable and reliable cloud resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages for automation tasks.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and logging practices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and Elastic Search will be considered an asset.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with international and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and positively to change.
• Eager to learn and grow professionally, and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies, pursuing relevant certifications to enhance professional expertise.
• Must have a strong entrepreneurial and team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or other related fields.
• At least 3 years’ experience in systems engineering, Devops engineer, technology consulting, or similar roles.
• Relevant industry cloud certifications considered as an asset (e.g. AZ-104, CKA, CKAD, LPIC-1)
• Excellent English communication skills. A good level of another foreign language would be an asset.
