This is a hands-on role requiring you to manage incoming requests, operate equipment, handle physical materials, and deliver responsive, high-quality service to internal clients.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize incoming service requests across print, mail, and workplace services to meet deadlines and service expectations
- Prepare files and complete print production work (printing, binding, cutting, laminating), ensuring accuracy and adherence to branding standards
- Operate and troubleshoot production equipment while maintaining quality control throughout all jobs
- Sort, log, and distribute incoming mail and courier items, and prepare outgoing shipments including packaging and labeling
- Research shipping options and coordinate pickups to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery
- Provide front-line customer service (walk-ups, email, requests), clarifying requirements and communicating updates or delays
- Support office operations including scanning, photocopying, records management, meeting room setup/teardown, and catering coordination
- Provide backup coverage for reception and security desks as required
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies (print, courier, office), ensuring timely replenishment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service centre environment and follow all safety procedures
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes and standing for extended periods
- Support overtime and additional operational tasks as required
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong attention to detail in a high-volume environment
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
- Sound judgment when handling confidential information
- Reliable and adaptable to changing operational demands
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- 1–3 years of experience in a hands-on operational role (print, mailroom, logistics, or admin support)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Comfortable working with equipment and physical materials
- This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
