Talent Development Coordinator - GDS Mexico 

 

The Talent Development team brings support to the different services lines across GDS Mexico in relation to learning and development initiatives with the objective of generating business impact and developing a reskilling and upskilling mindset.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with GDS Mexico leaders to understand training needs and how it impacts in the business
  • Deliver ad hoc trainings for GDS Mexico employees
  • Drive decision making and be the trusted advisor to the stakeholders
  • Create the Facilitator Development program for GDS Mexico
  • Establish different and innovative learning initiatives
  • Reframe global initiatives to fit GDS Mexico cultures and business
  • Coach and support leaders on the GDS Performance Annual Process
  • Take care of Talent Development Budget
  • Drive and build upon a culture of continuous improvement by developing innovative ideas
  • Effectively collaborate with multiple and diverse set of stakeholders in a global environment
  • Deploy your core skills to lead the initiative with governance and control, track progress, report on SLAs and KPIs regularly to create client confidence


Skills and attributes for success

  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills, including business narratives and storytelling
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong facilitation skills with senior stakeholders to drive decisions and consensus
  • Strong MS Office skills – particularly, to develop engaging presentations
  • Ability to work and team across cultures and organizational ranks
  • Good analytical, judgment, tact and decision-making ability along with critical thinking skills


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 5+ Years of relevant talent development experience with at least 6+ years of human resources experience
  • 2+ Years of experience in the technology industry
  • Experience in delivering live / virtual trainings
  • Analytical thinking with a can do attitude
  • Advance level of English
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision


Good to have

Experience working in the Big 4 professional services firms and other global management consultancies is highly desirable
MBA or equivalent advanced education is preferable 
Coaching certification
