Senior DBA - SQL

• Incident, problem, Change and Service Request management and resolution
• Monitoring, Alerting, & Health Checks
• Monitor the SQL DB Incidents and SR’s.
• User and Profile Administration
• Scheduling, Monitoring and Reporting of Jobs (backups, restores, Statistics, etc....)
• Execute System Health Checks and Document Results According to SOP's
• Runbooks/SOP creation and Updates
• Create Schemas, Tables, View and Indexes
• Deploy Database Patches and Fixes
• Verify and Execute Scripts
• Perform Database Refreshes, Clones, Reorgs, Backups and Recoveries
• Perform Database Configuration and Validation
• Execute Data Purges and Archival Processes According to Runbooks already available
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Scheduled Job Issues and Errors
• Work with Microsoft Support and Document / Update Tickets and Run-Books
• Fulfill Additional Storage Requests Upon Receipt of Required Approval
• Execute Detailed Incident / Issue Root Cause Analysis
• Optimize Database and System Resources to Ensure System Performance
• Design Refresh, Purge, Clone and Reorg Processes and Documentation
• Cluster and Instance Tuning / Performance Optimization
• Execute Approved/Scheduled CR's and Deployments for In-Scope App Environments
• Escalate Critical Incidents to Cross Functional Teams
• Lead Database Portions of Bridge Calls for Cross Functional Incidents
• Disaster Recovery Testing and Execution
