Our Finance practice sits within our wider consulting team and is growing significantly due to client organizations need to address infrastructure weaknesses and adapt to the changing market environment. Consequently, we are seeing our clients undertaking a wide range of projects. As a Finance Senior Consultant, you will work with our Senior Managers and Managers to deliver exceptional service for our U.S. clients.

Your key responsibilities
- GBS Setup Expertise: Extensive experience in GBS setup activities, including activity analysis, cost baselining, location assessments, business case creation, organizational design, SLA´s, performance metrics, and target operation model design.
- • Transformational project experience: Proven experience on finance transformation initiatives developed or implemented for GBS/SSC
- GBS Operating Models: Knowledgeable in GBS operating models encompassing implementation, migration, digitization, and optimization strategies.
- • Engagement Knowledge: Working knowledge of GBS/SSC setup engagements and business transition assignments, including related activities.
- • Project Management and Finance Function Proficiency: Proven experience on leading initiatives for GBS Service Management, Service provider selection and negotiation support.
- • Accounting Acumen: Strong accounting skills with a solid understanding of financial reports and statements.
- • Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with finance functions or sectors such as banking, insurance, wealth asset management, and supply chain.
- • Financial Close Expertise: Knowledge of financial closing activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting periods.
- • Technical Proficiency: Good knowledge of ledger and sub-ledger systems, with technical know-how of SAP ERP/HANA and Oracle GL (preferred).

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience in managing and supervising project teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Flexibility to work in various shifts.

- Certifications: IFRS, Banking, or Insurance certifications are considered a plus, enhancing professional credibility and expertise
To qualify for the role, you must have.
- Educational Background: Degree in Public Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Consulting Experience: Proven experience in consultancy or project transformation offices, specifically within finance.
- Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing transformational projects related to SSC, GBS, or BPO.
- Professional Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA) are advantageous, based on applicable work experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business transition, project assessments, and GBS activities.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Project, Power BI, and JIRA.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Business Finance Transformation, Finance Setup experience.
- Project management skills.
- SAP (ECC latest version; S4 HANA Private Cloud)
- BPMN 2.0,
- Data Analytics Experience
- Process Documentation
- Continuous Improvement Frameworks
- An MBA (Finance) or commerce graduate is preferred.
