The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Transfer Pricing Tax professional or do you hold a background in audit, accounting, consulting, economics, law and/or tax and looking to expand your expertise into the dynamic field of international tax? Join our Transfer Pricing team based in Naarm – Melbourne, where you will have the unique opportunity to develop your career in the growth international tax pathway.
We are looking for curious, commercially minded people that are team players, are keen to understand how multinational businesses operate and translate that understanding into pragmatic and value-adding transfer pricing advice. You will work closely with clients to help them achieve efficient, compliant and sustainable outcomes in an increasingly complex global tax environment.
You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from large multinational corporations to innovative start-ups, collaborating closely with our international and corporate tax specialists within the EY network both in Australia and globally. This role offers a blend of hands-on client engagement and strategic advisory, providing a platform to build deep expertise in transfer pricing while leveraging your existing skills.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Apply strong analytical and consulting skills to understand and resolve complex and evolving transfer pricing challenges.
- Support and manage client engagements across transfer pricing planning, compliance, and interactions with tax authorities such as audits and Advance Pricing Arrangements.
- Collaborate with EY teams locally and globally to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation, economic analyses, and benchmarking studies.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Continuously build your technical and commercial capabilities skills in transfer pricing and international tax through EY’s comprehensive learning programs.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- 3+ years (Senior Consultant) to 5+ years (Manager) 7-10 years (Senior Manager) experience in transfer pricing. We are open to experience in audit, accounting, consulting, economics, legal and/or tax related fields, with a strong interest or exposure to international tax and transfer pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong commercial acumen and an eagerness to understand the broader economic, legal, and geo-political factors influencing transfer pricing.
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Commerce, Finance, Law, Accounting, or related disciplines, or double degree including any of these disciplines.
- Experience with, or a genuine curiosity about, the use of technology and data in tax and transfer pricing is highly regarded.
- Current and valid working rights in Australia and be based in Melbourne.
