Technology Operations (Tech Ops) - Solutions Architect

 

The opportunity 

 

EY is looking for a progressive and innovative Tech Ops Solution Architect who can design and build end‑to‑end managed service offerings for our clients, supporting both pre‑sales and solution delivery activities. You will lead the definition of scalable, outcome‑driven Tech Ops solutions, collaborating with delivery, sales, and senior technical leaders across EY. In this role, you’ll help shape our Tech Ops capability, drive consistency and quality across engagements, and ensure our solutions are aligned to client needs and strategic objectives.

 

This role is based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options. 

 

Your key responsibilities 
 

  • Act as a Technical Presales to support opportunities around application managed services solutions while working closely with other solutions leaders, product leads, alliance managers, managed services team members, delivery teams and Client executives for designated accounts/markets in support of key sales and account plans to achieve and exceed defined targets.
  • Be responsible for designing complex, multi-year, transformational managed services solutions that integrate People, process, technology and facility/location components into an effective and efficient solution, while considering data sovereignty and regulatory mandates.
  • Prepare proposals/presentations/statements of work (SOWs), effort and pricing estimates and respond to RFIs/RFPs by articulating EY’s Tech Ops value proposition against the customer defined requirements and propose winning solutions across custom digital platforms, Content Management Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Service Now, SAP and future EY capabilities.
  • Work closely with Contract management and legal teams to ensure the proposed solution has the highest level of assurance along with well-defined service level management approach to effectively manage risk of engagements.

  • More than 7+ years’ experience in Application Management Services (AMS) pre‑sales, solution architecture, and managed services practice development.
  • Proven hands‑on experience designing, solutioning, and delivering end‑to‑end AMS engagements across complex, multi‑application environments.
  • Demonstrated experience solutioning large‑scale AMS managed services deals (typically >$5M USD), including commercial structuring and deal shaping.
  • Strong exposure to onshore, offshore, and nearshore delivery models, including blended and follow‑the‑sun operating models.
