The opportunity
We are looking for senior-level professionals to join our Financial Services Risk Management practice, based in our Sydney office on a full-time basis.
As part of our Specialised Operational Risk and Transformation team, you will play a critical role in leading and delivering data risk, AI risk and records risk engagements for a portfolio of top-tier FS clients.
The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain long-term client relationships, build and lead high-performing teams, generate new business opportunities, and lead client engagements to deliver high-quality outcomes. We support capital markets participants, asset managers, insurance and superannuation organisations.
Your key responsibilities
You will lead complex engagements and support the delivery of strategic risk and data transformation initiatives across financial services clients, with a focus on risk governance, data, AI and records risk. Example responsibilities include:
- Lead large-scale client engagements, delivering high-quality solutions across:
- Line 1 and line 2 data management
- AI risk management
- Line 1 and line 2 records management
- Collaborate across business and technology consulting teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions, including data lifecycle management, regulatory reporting, and risk and control assurance
- Build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships, including risk, data and technology functions, while driving business development and leading proposals
- Develop innovative insights and tailored solutions for clients, contributing to thought leadership across emerging areas such as AI risk and records risk
Skills and attributes for success
You will bring strong consulting capability, deep risk expertise and an understanding of evolving regulatory expectations across data, AI and records management.
- Proven experience advising clients on risk governance and management, including risk strategy, reporting and controls
- Strong experience in programme delivery, stakeholder management, executive reporting and strategic decision-making
- Up-to-date knowledge of leading industry practices and regulatory frameworks across data risk, AI risk management, and records management, including APRA, ASIC and international regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to drive business development, lead proposals and deliver impactful client outcomes
