We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.
Join EY and help to build a better working world.
The opportunity:
As our Senior Manager, Power & Utilities Solution and Enterprise Architecture, you will work with clients to shape technology direction and translate business strategy into practical architecture outcomes. You will lead the development of enterprise, solution and transition architectures that guide investment decisions, enable transformation and provide a clear path from current state to target state.
You will bring strong Power & Utilities experience and contribute across technology strategy, architecture governance, application and platform modernisation, cloud and data-enabled transformation, digital and AI initiatives, and major transformation programs. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and technology specialists to balance strategic ambition with operational requirements, risk, cost, resilience and regulatory obligations.
This role can be performed in Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
-
Shape architecture strategy and direction: Define architecture vision, principles, target-state direction and transition roadmaps aligned to business and transformation priorities.
-
Power & Utilities capability alignment: Assess business capabilities, operational processes, information, applications and technology to identify gaps and opportunities for simplification and modernisation.
-
Solution architecture: Lead the design of end-to-end solutions across applications, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, security and service management.
-
Architecture governance and assurance: Establish architecture governance, standards and decision processes and provide assurance over solution integrity, risk and regulatory considerations.
-
Roadmaps and investment decisions: Develop current-state assessments, target architectures, options analyses and technology roadmaps to support investment decisions.
-
Transformation and delivery: Work with program, product, engineering and vendor teams to translate architecture into executable delivery plans.
-
Stakeholder engagement: Facilitate architecture workshops, communicate complex concepts clearly and build alignment across senior business and technology stakeholders.
-
Team leadership: Manage architecture workstreams, coach team members and review deliverables to support quality outcomes.
