The opportunity
As our Senior Manager you will team with EY professionals and client stakeholders to advise many of the world’s largest organisations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the most complex, high-profile deals in the market.
The transactions market is a major part of EY’s go to market strategy. Working in Transaction Tax, you will be given the tools, training and flexibility to work on interesting and varied matters to grow your career exponentially with an employer that truly invests in the development and well-being of its people.
This role is based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
What we look for
Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to succinctly and clearly convey complex tax concepts to clients. Additionally, have experience managing budgets, projects, and people effectively.
- Possess at least 7 years of experience in Australian tax consulting within a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting, or legal environment.
- Demonstrate expertise in inbound and outbound transaction consulting, including international tax research, planning, compliance, tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of client service and ensuring client satisfaction throughout engagements.
