Senior Consultant - Microsoft Platforms

 

 

The opportunity

 

The Senior Consultant in Microsoft Platforms will play a critical role in helping clients leverage Microsoft technologies to drive business transformation and improve operational efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of Microsoft solutions, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365, to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.

 

This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Ensure client deliverables are on time and to the standard expected by the client and engagement partner/principal.
  • Maintains open and proactive communication and builds credibility based on understanding client issues and offering innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives, providing expert advice on Microsoft technologies that can address their needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams, business leaders, and executives, to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft-based solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including Azure cloud services, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP solutions
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client meetings to showcase EY's capabilities in Microsoft technologies
  • Deliver an exceptional service experience across engagements, by developing an account management mindset, understands our clients’ sectors and business agenda, and anticipates their needs, proposing preferred solutions, anticipating potential barriers and following up on client satisfaction.

                                                                                                                                                              

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
  • Demonstrable ability to build relationships internally and externally (with clients)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform implementation experience
  • Dynamics 365 configuration and customization experience
  • Requirements gathering and elicitation.
  • Sales - opportunity management, account & relationship management
  • Leadership - problem solving & decision making, performance management, coaching & mentoring.
  • Assignment delivery - requirements, performance & presentation of results
  • Knowledge processes - knowledge gathering & sharing
  • Quality & risk management processes
