The opportunity
Due to continued growth within our Risk Consulting service line, we're continuing to expand our leading Internal Audit team with several new Senior Consultant roles.
We perform Internal Audit services for our clients across a broad range of industries, including Government, Health, Education and Corporates including top 20 ASX listed entities. We help our clients to improve business process and control measures so that executives are confident key risks are being managed, and decision making can occur with accuracy and at speed. The work we perform has a genuine impact on the organisations we work with and their ability to achieve their strategic goals.

Your key responsibilities
- Deliver internal audit engagements, from planning through to reporting, across compliance, financial, operational, and strategic risk areas, ensuring high quality outcomes while coaching and developing junior team members.
- Apply your risk and sector-specific knowledge to assess clients’ processes and controls, identify opportunities to mitigate risks, and recommend improvements that enhance process efficiency, effectiveness and business performance.
- Stay current with emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and EY tools, and apply this knowledge to enhance audit approaches and client solutions.
- Travel as required to support client needs and engagement delivery.

Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification.
- Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP certification within one year of hire)
- Proven ability to deliver engagements end‑to‑end, producing high‑quality work on time through strong analytical skills, organisational capability and attention to detail. You take ownership of your work and see it through.
- Sound understanding of core business processes, risks and controls, with the ability to assess control design and operating effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, you want to contribute positively to team culture and help uplift and coach others.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication and skills including the ability to write clearly and concisely to produce high‑quality audit reports and workpapers.
- Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
