Manager or Senior Manager - Technology Assurance - Financial Services
The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager or Senior Manager in IT Audit to join our team. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in assessing complex IT environments and a passion for driving excellence in IT audit practices. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the latest IT risk trends and regulations, coupled with exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with senior clients. As a leader in our IT audit practice, you will play an integral role in shaping our approach to IT risk advisory engagements and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities
Strategic Assessment and Insights:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of complex IT environments, identifying vulnerabilities and providing actionable insights to enhance risk management frameworks.
- Stay abreast of the latest IT risk trends and regulatory changes, translating this knowledge into strategic recommendations for clients.
Client Engagement and Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level clients, effectively communicating audit findings and recommendations in a clear and impactful manner.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complexities of IT audit processes and fostering a collaborative approach to risk management.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT audit professionals, fostering an environment of growth and development while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Drive team performance by setting clear objectives, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
Methodology and Best Practices:
- Leverage your expertise in IT audit methodology to enhance our audit processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT audit practice by identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
IT Risk Advisory Engagements:
- Lead IT risk advisory engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that address client needs.
- Utilise your IT audit qualifications and experience to provide expert guidance on risk management strategies and best practices.
What we look for
Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- 5+ years of experience in IT audit, with a proven track record in assessing complex IT environments.
- Relevant IT audit qualifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, or equivalent) that demonstrate your commitment to the field.
- In-depth knowledge of IT audit methodology, IT regulations, and risk management frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at senior levels.
- A motivated professional with a clear vision for advancing your career and contributing to the success of our IT audit practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant filed
