We are looking for a Manager in our Supply Chain & Operations, focussing on Procurement including Procurement Strategy, Category Management, and Digital Procurement. This role provides the opportunity to build teams and networks across the across consumer and life sciences sectors.
This role is based in Naarm (Melbourne).
Your key responsibilities
- Deliver Procurement engagements including operating model, strategic sourcing cost-out, purchase to pay optimisation, and technology implementation (including AI solutions).
- Apply expertise in Procurement within complex, large-scale organisations in the FMCG, life sciences and retail sectors — driving improvements in cost management, productivity and capability.
- Contribute to wider Supply Chain initiatives such as inventory, network optimisation and manufacturing excellence.
Skills and attributes for success
- Bring 5 to 8 years of recent operational or consulting experience in procurement in life sciences or consumer sectors, with strong critical thinking and adaptability to learn new processes and identify client opportunities.
- Demonstrates highly analytical and data-driven problem solving skills in developing solutions
- Demonstrates understanding of cross border operational challenges and opportunities as it related to global procurement functions
- Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and motivating diverse client teams, fostering an inclusive and innovative environment, while effectively communicating your insights to senior executive audiences.
- Manage project delivery by driving high-quality work on time and within budget, monitoring progress and risks, maintaining strong client relationships, and proactively identifying additional business development opportunities.

- Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.

The salary range for this role is AUD 129,000 to AUD 170,000 inclusive of superannuation dependent on skills, experience and work location.
