This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

You'll play a key role in helping clients transform and optimise their finance functions while supporting the growth of EY's Finance Managed Services practice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead finance transformation and managed services engagements, partnering with client leadership teams to design and implement future-state operating models and service delivery solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities to improve finance performance through process optimisation, automation, analytics, ERP enablement and emerging technologies including AI.
  • Drive commercial outcomes through effective engagement management, client relationship development and the identification of opportunities to expand service offerings and grow accounts.
  • Lead, coach and develop local and offshore team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing and inclusive culture.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience leading transformation, consulting, managed services, operational excellence or business improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior business leaders and managing complex delivery environments.
  • Experience working with finance transformation, shared services, ERP implementations, process optimisation or business change programs.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes and support business growth.
  • Experience leading and developing diverse teams in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Exposure to technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, automation, analytics or AI-enabled solutions would be advantageous.
