The opportunity
As our Insights & Performance Leader you should be ready to shape the future of data-led marketing within our Oceania Brand, Marketing, and Communications (BMC) function. You will play a central part in advancing our organisation’s approach to performance and insights, helping us make smarter, more informed decisions. The position focuses on elevating how we use data and insights to guide our marketing direction, connect information from multiple sources, and ensure we have a clear understanding of the impact of our efforts.
Joining us means being at the heart of a forward-thinking team dedicated to driving measurable results and supporting EY’s growth in the region. If you are passionate about transforming data into strategic opportunities and creating a culture of insight-led decision making, you will thrive in this environment and have a lasting influence on how we achieve success.
This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney. This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of BMC’s insights and performance strategy, with a focus on performance measurement, marketing attribution, reporting infrastructure and client insights
- Manage and coach a small yet high-performing team of offshore analysts and contractors, ensuring delivery excellence and strategic alignment
- Partner and collaborate with Oceania stakeholders including brand, media, digital and campaign teams to improve targeting, content performance, and engagement outcomes
- Develop scalable reporting for real-time visibility into performance, deliver actionable insights, and provide strategic consultation and training to enhance the use of insights in planning and execution.
- Maximise value from EY’s martech ecosystem including Dynamics 365, Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, and Customer Journey Analytics
Skills and attributes for success
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing and/or data insights, performance, or analytics roles - ideally within a B2B or professional services context. Additional experience in broader marketing environments is highly regarded

- Strong grasp of marketing & data platforms, especially Adobe products. Preferred experience in Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Marketo, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, PowerBI and Excel
Ideally, you also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Analytical mindset with strong data storytelling and visualisation skills
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive insight-led decision making
- Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys, pipeline contribution, and multi-touch attribution
