At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

The opportunity

Our Global Mobility Transformation and Assignment Services team is part of an international network of offices and operates on a global basis. We believe a better working world means helping clients harness the right people, with the right capabilities, in the right place and the right cost.

As part of our team, you will help to move talent across the globe and reshape the way businesses manage and support their international and domestic workforces - supporting them across areas like tax, immigration, payroll, relocation, policy advisory, and more. You’ll gain hands-on experience in consulting, global mobility, and project management while helping deliver smooth and strategic mobility arrangements.

Our Assignment Services offering is built around two core pillars:

  • Mobility Transformation – Advising clients on how to evolve their global mobility functions, and supporting implementation through strategic projects and secondments, leveraging our deep expertise.
  • Assignment Management – Managing international and domestic move administration for clients by operating their mobility functions either fully or partially.

This is a hybrid position based in Naarm - Melbourne, Warrang – Sydney or Boorloo - Perth.  Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver mobility programs by supporting international and domestic assignments across the full assignment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience.
  • Provide exceptional client service by maintaining regular communication, responding to stakeholder queries, managing service delivery timelines, and collaborating effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
  • Prepare and manage mobility-related documentation including assignment letters, compensation packages, balance sheets, and cost projections, while supporting assignment management briefings and mobility processes.
  • Contribute to business growth and continuous improvement by supporting mobility advisory projects, assisting with proposal development, identifying process improvements, and staying current on global mobility trends, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in global mobility or a related field, with an understanding of mobility frameworks and a genuine interest in international mobility, global business, HR, immigration, and tax.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, stakeholders, and both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality, accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (PowerPoint desirable), an openness to AI and emerging technologies, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
