As part of our Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy team you will you’ll work across a variety of deals to develop your capabilities, and you will help clients find financial, strategic and operational solutions to improve liquidity, credit availability and returns to their stakeholders.  Further, as a member of a multi-disciplinary, global team you will gain valuable experience across industries and geographies.

 

This position is based in our Naarm – Melbourne office.

 

Your key responsibilities 

 

  • Work with the team on restructuring and turnaround engagements (independent business reviews, safe harbour advice, financial sustainability and counterparty review, and liquidity reviews) and on formal insolvency engagements (voluntary administrations, receiverships and liquidations)  
  • Work with the other teams across EY-Parthenon such as Transaction Diligence, Valuations and Business Modelling, Real Estate Advisory, Infrastructure Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions to provide the best possible solution for our clients 

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

 

  • Have completed a degree in commerce or law or equivalent.
  • Restructuring, insolvency or accounting experience.
  • Be in the process of completing, or be willing to complete the CA qualification (following completion of bridging subjects if required)
  • Strong communication skills
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to client service
