We’re looking to expand our Plant and Equipment Valuation team in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, and we have an opportunity for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our growing team.

 

This is a hybrid position based in either Naarm – Melbourne or Meanjin – Brisbane.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Assist the team in providing plant and equipment valuation and due diligence services, delivering expert advice and insights across the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Perform thorough asset valuations and asset management due diligence, offering vital intelligence to clients in capital-intensive industries, enabling them to understand the true value of their asset portfolios.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • A recent graduate or one-two year’s work experience in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Property, Economics and Commerce seeking an exciting career path.
  • A professional currently working in asset-related field looking to work on large portfolios of high value assets.
  • An individual with asset management or engineering experience aiming to leverage their skills in a new domain.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel-based financial analysis.
  • Proficient in working with other Microsoft Office tools (Power Point, Word etc.). Experience working with PowerBI or other data analytics packages would also be viewed favourably.
  • Good interpersonal and client relationship skills.
  • High personal drive and motivation to succeed in a growing team with lots of opportunities.

 
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

 

A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable. Suitable fields of study include Engineering, Data Science or Mathematics, Property and Construction, Commerce, or Finance.

  • Current AAPI, ASA or RICS qualification will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Prior experience in property, business and/or plant and equipment valuation is favoured but not essential.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.
