We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

The opportunity
At EY-Parthenon, our unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance delivers real-world value – solutions that work in practice, not just on paper. Benefiting from EY’s full spectrum of services, we’ve reimagined strategic consulting to work in a world of increasing complexity. With deep functional and sector expertise, paired with innovative AI-powered technology and an investor mindset, we partner with CEOs, boards, private equity and governments every step of the way.
As a Senior Consultant – AI Solutions Consultant, you will help organisations harness AI, advanced analytics, and Generative AI to solve complex business challenges and drive transformation. Working alongside business and technology teams, you will design, develop, and deliver AI-powered solutions while supporting clients throughout their AI adoption journey. This role blends hands-on technical delivery with problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and innovation.
This hybrid role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Design and deliver AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions that address business needs and create measurable impact.
- Translate business requirements into practical AI use cases, solution designs, and implementation plans.
- Develop and deploy GenAI solutions, including copilots, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications, and AI-powered workflows.
- Support the development of scalable data and AI platforms on cloud environments.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders across engagements.
- Conduct solution analysis, prototyping, testing, and deployment activities.
- Contribute to AI governance, risk, security, and responsible AI practices.
- Support client workshops, demos, and presentations to communicate business value and technical concepts.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development within the team
Skills and attributes for success
- 4+ years of experience in AI, data analytics, software engineering, data science, or a related technology field.
- Experience delivering technology or AI-related projects in consulting, enterprise, or digital transformation environments.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
- Experience working with APIs, cloud services, and modern application architectures.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, data pipelines, and model deployment practices.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience with Microsoft AI technologies, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or comparable platforms.
- Exposure to MLOps, AI governance, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Relevant cloud, data, or AI certifications.
- Experience supporting client-facing engagements or digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of modern data platforms, analytics, and enterprise integration patterns
