The opportunity

At EY-Parthenon, our unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance delivers real-world value – solutions that work in practice, not just on paper. Benefiting from EY’s full spectrum of services, we’ve reimagined strategic consulting to work in a world of increasing complexity. With deep functional and sector expertise, paired with innovative AI-powered technology and an investor mindset, we partner with CEOs, boards, private equity and governments every step of the way.

As part of our continued investment in AI-enabled strategy and transformation, this newly created Manager/Senior Manager role sits at the intersection of technology strategy, commercial value, and execution, shaping how AI is identified, designed, and scaled across our most complex client environments and internal processes.

This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyse current operating models across EY-P practices, design a future-state AI-centric model and develop transformation roadmaps with business cases and benefit frameworks.
  • Shape AI roadmaps for both internal initiatives and client projects, balancing value, feasibility, risk, and readiness.
  • Lead structured discovery workshops and build scalable processes and delivery frameworks to support repeatable AI capabilities across EY-P Oceania.
  • Manage technical SMEs and oversee implementation of AI-enabled transformations end-to-end.
  • Design and roll out training programs, embed long-term learning journeys, and lead change communications that engage executives, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Translate technology into clear business outcomes, assess risks and regulatory considerations, build executable business cases, and identify new revenue streams.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions, drive decision-making, manage complex stakeholder queries, and build alignment and momentum across executives, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Design, establish and support a core AI capability with a focus on AI driven transformation of EY-P Oceania practices

Skills and attributes for success

  • 5+ years in consulting or professional services leading technology, digital, data, or AI programs, with delivery of large-scale transformation in complex environments.
  • Deep expertise in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and operating model design, with a strong understanding of the AI/ML landscape and its practical applications.
  • Ability to build business cases, balance value and risk, and spot new opportunities.
  • Exceptional communicator and facilitator, confident engaging executive leadership and managing complex programs.
  • Skilled at working across functions, global networks, and cultures.
  • Professional service operating models, AI ethics and governance principles, and deal or transformation environments.
