Data Analyst, AI and Data, Technology Consulting

The opportunity

As a Senior Consultant Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving impactful solutions and projects. Your experience will guide the delivery of innovative processes by applying sound judgment and selecting effective methodologies. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate and enhance models, processes, and operations, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications. Additionally, you will analyse newly implemented solutions to ensure they meet our business needs and contribute to our success. 

This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand business challenges and recommend analysis solutions/methodologies
• As required, coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members to ensure structure and focus on achieving team goals

What we look for

• Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of tools used in the design and build of data analysis and interpretation solutions
• Knowledge of the techniques and tools to develop data structures
• Ability to apply knowledge of technology and analytics to propose improvements to work processes and results

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below, but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

• Intermediate understanding of data mining tools, technologies, methods and techniques applied to big data streams and the dynamic characteristics of big data
• Leads by example and models behaviours that support a culture of safety, health and wellness.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate and present information with purpose, clarity and impact
