The opportunity
At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence. As a Risk Transformation Consultant, You will be supporting leading public and private sector organisations as they navigate uncertainty, strengthen governance and build resilient, future‑ready risk functions.
You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and leaders on transformation‑focused engagements, helping clients improve how they identify, assess and manage risk in a rapidly changing environment. This is an ideal role for someone early in their consulting or risk career who is eager to learn, grow and make a meaningful impact.
This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne.
Your key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of risk transformation engagements across areas such as enterprise risk management, governance frameworks, risk operating models and transformation programs
- Assist with risk assessments, current‑state analysis, stakeholder interviews and documentation
- Contribute to the design of practical, fit‑for‑purpose risk and control solutions
- Prepare high‑quality reports, presentations and client deliverables
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary EY teams across Consulting and Assurance
- Build foundational consulting skills through structured learning, coaching and on‑the‑job experience.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in risk management, transformation, governance or consulting
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work with diverse stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
- Prior internship, graduate or early career experience in consulting, risk, audit, technology or transformation is beneficial but not essential
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent writing and communication skills.
- Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance (or willingness to obtain) is a bonus.

- Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.
