Change Experience Specialist

The opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Change Experience Specialists at Manager level to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering end-to-end change blueprints for complex transformations, ensuring that changes are implemented and adopted with confidence.

Working across new systems, operating models and ways of working, you will bring together all elements of change to design and deliver a cohesive, enterprise-wide system of change.

You will be responsible for leading design initiatives that prioritize the needs, behaviours, and experiences of users. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and execute change experience strategies that enable adoption, embed new ways of working and deliver sustained business outcomes.

This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design and lead the change architecture, including the overall strategy, roadmap and end-to-end change journey across initiatives and stakeholder groups
  • Translate enterprise strategy into organisational change, assessing workforce, leadership and operating model impacts and supporting future-state design
  • Lead change design across complex transformation programs, sequencing initiatives to minimise disruption and improve readiness
  • Bring together all elements of change to deliver a cohesive, enterprise-wide approach across people, process, technology and experience
  • Shape compelling change narratives that simplify transformation and drive alignment, engagement and trust
  • Drive stakeholder and senior leader alignment, using impact assessments, engagement strategies and a people-centred approach to support adoption and sustained outcomes

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in consulting, change management, organisational development or a related discipline
  • Proven experience shaping and delivering end-to-end change for complex transformation programs (e.g. operating model or system change)
  • Strong capability in designing and leading enterprise-wide change initiatives across multiple workstreams
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments and translating strategy into practical change interventions
  • Ability to integrate people, process, technology and organisational design into a cohesive change approach
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, including working with senior leaders

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Experience supporting organisation and workforce design, including capability uplift and transition planning
  • Ability to develop clear, compelling change narratives for diverse audiences
  • Experience applying human-centred design or behavioural change approaches to drive adoption
  • Strong commercial awareness, balancing business outcomes with employee experience
  • Australian Citizenship with Baseline (or higher) security clearance, or eligibility to obtain clearance
