As our newest Agile Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering value to our stakeholders and nurturing Agile processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders and colleagues in a number of ways:
- Empowerment and Collaboration: Empower delivery teams to achieve continuous, high-quality outcomes that prioritize customer value and maximize flow. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Agile methodologies.
- Coaching and Development: Act as a coach to foster Agile ways of working, promote continuous improvement, and build team resilience and high performance. Use your technical and functional knowledge to remove roadblocks and identify risks.
- Facilitation and Coordination: Facilitate interdependencies across teams and collaborate with project or program management for estimates and resource planning. Work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to develop high-performing teams and improve iteration management.
- Strategic Alignment: Support platform strategy alignment with enterprise goals, proactively manage demand, and ensure delivery reliability.
What we’re looking for
Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Iteration Manager role, ideal, but not essential within a consulting background having worked with finance, insurance or payment's platform clients.
- Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in environments with a mix of delivery methodologies, with particular exposure to enterprise Agile delivery. Ideally you will hold certifications in Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe, LeSS, etc.
- Value Delivery: Demonstrated ability to support solutions that deliver value for customers, business, and our people in a finance, insurance or payment's platform industry.
- Innovation and Learning: Experience in fostering innovation within a team and colleagues, demonstrating and encouraging lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
- Facilitation and Support: Proven experience in facilitating and supporting delivery, plans, and change associated with technology delivery and business improvement.
- Tool Proficiency: Full stack development background (React, nodeJS, PostgresSQL)
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and people management skills.
