Government & Public Sector - Identity & Access Management (IAM)/Sailpoint Engineer

Our U.S. GPS practice combines an understanding of the public sector's diverse mission needs with private sector leading practices. We respond to each client's issues by bringing together highly skilled professionals across our Consulting, Assurance, Tax and Strategy and Transactions service lines. This integrated approach provides the support and flexibility to meet the unique requirements of our clients.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop rapport with others by demonstrating an understanding of their concerns, needs and issues, and focus on developing an internal network of relationships that can provide advice and support; consistently deliver quality client services
- Team as an Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer to support client workstreams using CyberArk
- Design and implement integration of enterprise identity and access control solutions.
- Utilize an Identity and Access Management, specifically application integration and workflow design.
- Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
- Assist engagement teams in evaluating client vulnerability management programs across people, process and technology
- Improve EY’s business processes and cybersecurity response methodologies
- Assist in the project management of cybersecurity projects, including development of project charters, project plans and status updates
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field
- Experience administering and installing one of the following tools: Identity & Access Management technologies, Active Directory (ADFS), Azure, SAML, SSO, Zscaler, RSA SecurID
- Experience scripting/developing one of the following: Powershell, Bash, Python, C#, Visual Basic
- Knowledge of the current security environment and industry trends to identify engagement and client service issues; communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations
- Knowledge of federal clients, including some of the following: branches of the military, defense agencies, intelligence community, civil agencies, federal health agencies or federal international agencies
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor's Degree in technical or business field (Computer Science preferred)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance
- 5+ years in related role
- 3 + years of experience with Identity and Access Management, application integration and workflow design
- 3+ years of experience building, testing and documenting functionality and executing development processes
- Experience administering and installing IAM technologies, Azure, ADFS, SAML, SSO Zscaler or RSA SecureID
- Strong analytical and problem-solving, presentation and communication skills
Due to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector, work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. Our goal is to assign professionals to projects within a commutable distance of their work location office. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. Candidates should be willing to travel on average 25% to 30% or more in a hybrid environment.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $104,800 to $192,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $125,800 to $218,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
