The opportunity
Contracts Supervising Associate is responsible for providing contract management support for state and local government, educational systems, and non-profit organization (SLED) contracts. Reviews solicitations, proposals, bids, contracts, contract modifications, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracting agreements. Performs reviews of contracts and proposals for compliance with internal policies, procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations and other regulations, and other local law as required. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with government contracting officers and internal stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities
- Supports the SLED team in managing contracts from inception through close-out
- Completes RFP reviews for compliance and risk assessments
- Coordinates review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), HIPAA Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), subcontracts and Requests for Proposals by the various risk mitigation teams (BRS/GCO)
- Provides support to the SLED team to help complete data calls and other tasks
- Responsible for various SLED required reporting (administrative fees, fair pay requirements, etc.)
- Provide reporting and administrative support for obtaining certificates of insurance, as well as high level monitoring of engagement team compliance activities
- Provide reporting and administrative support for all SLED contracts to include input of all key terms and reporting requirements
- Identifies contractual risks and issues and provides resolutions and recommends actions
- Use contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for engagements

To qualify you must have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3-5+ years of compliance, risk management, and contracts experience within government agencies
- Working knowledge of contract concepts and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and local legal and regulatory requirements
- Strong computer skills in MS Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to learn new computer applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance, as required
Ideally, you'll also have
- Knowledge of public procurement processes
- Knowledge of public procurement processes are a plus
- Contract Management Certifications are a plus
- Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus
