SaT Consultant (Strategy and Transactions department)

The opportunity

As a member of our team in GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You will work hand in hand with the EY Spain teams in the different projects of Transactions, Strategy, Valuations, Restructuring or Real Estate.

Your key responsibilities

Analysis of financial statements based on trial balances, management accounts and annual accounts; other analyses such as bank reconciliations, consolidation of groups of companies, adjustments to the final purchase price, SPA, market research, among others.

Skills and attributes for success

• Solid foundation in accounting
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office, incl. PowerPoint.
• Outstanding research, analytical and conceptual skills.
• Very flexible, pragmatic and resilient.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance or similar.
• Knowledge and interest in accounting.
• Medium-high level in English (B2-C1).

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Master’s in financial sector (economic analysis, banking and finance, actuarial or similar).
• Knowledge Power Query, Power-BI, VBA
• Work experience 0-3 years.
• German Skills (at least B2).
