Power Platform Developer – EY GDS Spain - Hybrid 

The opportunity

Transform business processes with low-code solutions and intelligent automation using Microsoft Power Platform.

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation. 

Your key responsibilities

As a Power Platform Developer, you will design and implement low-code solutions that streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and empower end users through data-driven applications and automation.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom apps using Power Apps.
• Build and optimize automated workflows with Power Automate to improve business efficiency.
• Create interactive, data-rich dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Connect and transform data using Power Query and MSSQL for backend integration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Power Platform solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Power Platform applications and flows.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance in solutions built across the Microsoft ecosystem
• Document solution design, workflows, and maintenance procedures

Skills and attributes for success

To succeed in this role, you should combine technical proficiency with a solution-oriented mindset, a keen eye for usability, and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to map complex business processes into scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with WCF and ASMX services for system integration.
• Experience with databases like MSSQL and tools like Power Query for data manipulation and transformation.
• Ability to design user-friendly interfaces and intuitive workflows.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy, performance, and security.
• Adaptability to learn new Microsoft Power Platform features and capabilities quickly.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of data sources, relational databases (e.g., MSSQL), and query tools
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in international environments.
