Frontend Angular developer - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

The Opportunity

As a member of our team at the EY GDS Spain office in Málaga, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience by working on exciting projects using the newest technologies and approaches. You will support clients in choosing the most suitable business solutions and take part in their digital transformation.

Within the Digital Engineering area for the Financial Services and Insurance sector, we help our clients design and implement solutions based on web applications. We are expanding our team with various profiles and expertise, including front‑end development. If you are interested in and/or have experience in the following areas, contact us:

• SPA development
• Angular 10+
• React
• Typescript
• Experience with component libraries: Material UI / Reactstrap or similar

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in projects involving the development of web applications and UI components.
• Design and layout SPA front‑end interfaces, sometimes freely and other times aligned with our clients’ branding.
• Stay up to date with the state of the art in front‑end development.
• Work in an agile development environment. You will have autonomy in your tasks while having strong team support.
• Be part of a dynamic team where continuous learning is essential.

Skills and Competencies for Success

As an Angular developer, we expect you to have basic knowledge of:

• Creation of Modules, Components, and Directives
• Component lifecycle
• Templates and structural directives (ngIf, ngFor)
• Forms (template‑driven and reactive)
• Observables and RXJS
• Pipes
• Routing

Additionally, we value knowledge in:

• API Design & Documentation (REST, Swagger, etc.)
• Front‑end testing (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress...)
• Docker
• Jira or equivalent

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or IT‑related education
• Strong front‑end design and layout skills
• Good programming practices, organization, and attention to detail
• Experience in web application projects and agile development
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• English level: B2

Ideally, You Also Have

• Knowledge of Javascript ES6, Typescript, Angular, React, CSS3, SASS, and/or HTML5
