You love working with data of all sorts small and big. You enjoy helping clients push the boundaries of extracting business insights and value from the data in automatic and efficient way.

The opportunity

As a Data Engineer you will be upskilled by EY to Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue/ Snowflake / Spark / Kafka. You will be responsible for building robust solutions for extracting, transformation and integration of data that enable our clients make efficient decisions with ease. You will implement efficient solutions on Cloud using large amount of data from various sources.

Your key responsibilities

As a Data Engineer you will be upskilled by EY to Azure Data Factory / Snowflake / Spark / Kafka. You will be responsible for building robust solutions for extracting, transformation and integration of data that enable our clients make efficient decisions with ease. You will implement efficient solutions on Cloud using large amount of data from various sources.

Skills and attributes for success

Solving complex business problems at large scale. Participating in a cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across various domains. Interacting with engineers, product/project managers and partners from all over the world.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 1+ years of commercial experience in similar role
• Experience in T-SQL or PL/SQL
• Experience in one of ETL tool, for example: SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Oracle Data integrator, Ab Initio etc.
• Understanding of design techniques of relational databases, ETL as well as data concepts such as Data Marts, Data Warehouses
• Very good English (verbal and written)
• Experience with version control system (GIT, Azure Devops, SVN) 

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience in BI tools like SAP BO, Qlikview, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI
• Experience in Cloud Azure/AWS/GCP
• Understanding of data management concepts
• Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules when handling data
