Transaction Dilligence Consultant - Senior - (Strategy and Transactions department) - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

The opportunity

As a member of our team in GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You will work hand in hand with the EY Spain team.

You will participate in the main transactions carried out for major multinational companies, corporate groups, and leading market operators.

Your key responsibilities

A Strategy consultant must research and create.

You should be able to prepare and analyze the main financial indicators that affect the value of a transaction.

You will be expected to present your analysis in financial reports that play a key role within the M&A process (Financial Due Diligence).

You must justify and explain your analysis, which will serve as the starting point for our clients’ future negotiations with investors or potential acquirers.

Skills and attributes for success

• High Analytics and Accounting professionals.
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office, with high specialization in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding research, analytical and conceptual skills.
• Very flexible, pragmatic and resilient.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance or similar.
• Knowledge and interest in accounting, financial analysis or related.
• High level in English (B2-C1).
• High level of Power Office tools.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Master’s in financial sector (economic analysis, banking and finance, actuarial or similar).
• Experience in Auditing or transaction processes in Big Four or similar consulting companies.
• Knowledge in Power Query, Power-BI, VBA, SQL, or other ETLs for information preparation and cleaning.
• High interest in optimizing databases and high volume of information.
• Work experience 1-3 years.
• Knowledge in other languages (French, German, Portuguese…).
