The opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior to support the delivery and governance of our multi-country payroll operate engagements. The role will support the engagement team utilizing one global methodology to track the end-to-end process and provide subsidiary governance throughout the client life-cycle to mitigate risk, increase corporate transparency, improve compliance, ensure leveraging of key data insights and provide clients will additional product offerings.
The role will reside within our Service Management Office (SMO). SMO is a centralized function responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of payroll services across multiple-countries and servicing the client globally in line with the EY Payroll Operate practices.
Responsibilities
- Act as the SMO for multi-country clients and implementations.
- Support the engagement team with the global MCPO delivery of multiple clients and all client escalations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and technology, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of payroll services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement. Leverage Global Payroll Operate tools, technology, methodology and processes.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and support the engagement team with client-related communications.
- Support the preparation for regular client reviews and preparation of reports on progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Coordinate annual rollover tasks, such as calendar preparation and EY tool updates.
- Work with the engagement team to address escalations, resolve issues, prepare root cause analysis, and communicate outcomes to account teams.
- Support the processing of scope changes and related contract adjustments, including change requests and documentation updates.
- Be involved in client-related change management efforts, including the adoption of new tools, processes, and system upgrades.
- Support the EP/EMs on client budget preparation, handle invoice management.
- Manage client and EY team access to engagement platforms.
- Provide ad-hoc support to clients and EY teams for service-related inquiries and tasks.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Degree and/or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Understanding of payroll processes
- Project Management experience and skills
- Problem solving skills
- Client service experience and skills
- Strong analytical skills, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Excellent English language skills
- Flexibility to operate in a global across-time-zones environment
