The opportunity

EY Luxembourg's Technology Consulting practice supports leading asset managers, alternative investment firms, private equity funds, real estate funds, infrastructure managers, and institutional investors in the design, implementation, and optimization of investment management technology platforms.

As a Technology Consultant, you will help clients transform their front-to-back investment operating models by leveraging industry-leading solutions such as Aladdin, Amundi Alto, SimCorp, eFront, and other Wealth & Asset Management platforms. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining business process expertise with technology knowledge to support platform implementations, operating model transformations, and digital innovation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead complex Wealth & Asset Management platform transformation programs, helping clients achieve their strategic, operational, and technology objectives through solutions such as Aladdin, Alto, eFront, SimCorp and related platforms.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing expertise across investment operations, portfolio management, fund accounting, performance measurement, and reporting processes.
• Lead workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to assess business needs, define target operating models, and design scalable technology solutions.
• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of investment management platforms, including portfolio onboarding, accounting setup, data migration, and operational workflows.
• Manage project delivery teams, ensuring quality execution, risk management, budget control, and timely delivery of client engagements.
• Advise clients on front-, middle-, and back-office transformation initiatives, challenging existing processes and driving industry-leading practices.
• Lead solution design for integrations between investment platforms and surrounding ecosystems, including accounting systems, data warehouses, market data providers, and reporting tools.
• Support analytics, reporting, and data visualization initiatives by leveraging multiple data sources and modern BI technologies.
• Develop methodologies, accelerators, and best practices to improve the efficiency and scalability of client transformations.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, client presentations, thought leadership, and market offerings within the Wealth & Asset Management sector.

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience within Wealth & Asset Management, technology consulting, investment operations, or investment platform implementation.
• Strong understanding of investment management operating models and asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, private markets, and derivatives.
• Proven experience delivering transformation programs involving platforms such as Aladdin, Alto, eFront, SS&C, Neoxam, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of fund accounting, investment accounting, portfolio management, performance measurement, attribution, and investment reporting.
• Experience leading client workshops, managing stakeholder relationships, and presenting to senior executives.
• Strong project and programme management capabilities with experience managing multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
