Tax Quality & Risk Management (QRM) Support Associate

EY Luxembourg's Tax Quality & Risk Management ("Tax QRM") support team plays a key role in supporting Tax professionals throughout the client acceptance and engagement lifecycle. The team provides operational support and guidance on quality and risk management matters, helping engagement teams comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and firm standards.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Tax QRM support team.

Your key responsibilities

• Supporting Tax engagement teams throughout the QRM process.
• Creating and maintaining client records within internal systems.
• Performing quality and risk checks to help ensure compliance with client and engagement acceptance procedures.
• Updating and finalizing opportunities and creating engagement codes.
• Collaborating regularly with Risk Management, AML and Independence teams to ensure consistent application of policies and efficient resolution of queries.
• Promoting the use of available resources.
• Providing day-to-day support and guidance to Tax professionals.
• Maintaining and updating information and documents on the Tax QRM Repository and ensuring information remains accurate and current.
• Supporting the delivery of training sessions for new joiners and providing on-the-job guidance where required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an administrative, operations, compliance, risk management or professional services support role would be considered an asset. 

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain policies and procedures clearly and practically.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders and knowing when to seek guidance if needed.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook (SharePoint would be a plus). 
• Fluent in English. French and/or German would be considered an advantage.
