The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Tax Provision Review Manager with expertise in LUXGAAP and IFRS to join our Tax Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tax provision process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with LUXGAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, leadership in tax provision engagements, and the ability to provide expert advice to our clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the tax provision review process for clients, ensuring compliance with ASC 740, LUXGAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards.
• Coordinate with clients' accounting teams to ensure tax provision data is accurately reflected in financial statements prepared under LUXGAAP and IFRS.
• Provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of LUXGAAP, IFRS, and tax reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business and tax provision needs.
• Manage and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry developments that may affect clients' tax provisions.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during the audit and review of clients' tax provisions.
• Design and implement best practices and internal controls for tax provision processes.
• Deliver insightful analysis and presentations to clients and firm leadership regarding tax provision impacts and strategies.
• Contribute to the firm's growth by identifying opportunities for additional services and client engagements.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Certified Accountant or Master's degree in Taxation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax provision and compliance, including significant exposure to LUXGAAP and IFRS.
• Exceptional leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing team.
• Strong analytical, technical, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex tax issues clearly and confidently.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality service and building enduring client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Work experience in Luxembourg
