Tax Manager/ Senior Manager - Business Tax Services

The opportunity

As part of the team, you will provide tax expertise to regulated clients including (but not limited to) banking clients, encompassing advice on local and international tax implications for financial institutions and their clients in relation, but not limited, to restructurings, acquisitions, governance and tax compliance.

Your key responsibilities

You will be involved in:

• Supporting the development of the Banking Tax Sector
• Advising financial institutions on their transactions, and client operations.
• Supporting the audit practice in the review of tax provisions
• Supporting clients on the implementation of regulations such as Automatic Exchange of information, Tax fraud, Pillar 2 and additional regulations impacting Luxembourg financial institutions
• Provide regular tax updates to the EY teams and client teams.
• You will develop and manage key client relationships/portfolio and interact with Head of tax and C-suits profiles

To qualify for the role you must have

• A university degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Luxembourg or international Taxation;
• At least 2 years of experience in Luxembourg, enabling you to have an understanding of local banking (or regulated entities) regulations/ specificities
• A fluent English level
• Go-to-market skills and approach

Ideally, you’ll also have

• A fluent French or other language level.
