The Opportunity
Our AI practice is seeking a Solution Architect – AI & Data who specializes in the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem. In this expert-level role, you will engage across the entire lifecycle of client engagements—from problem analysis and technical feasibility assessment to reference architecture design, team mentorship, and operational process transformation. As the practice's technical authority on large-scale AI missions, you will work directly with client teams (CIO, CDO, business units) and collaborate to deliver impactful AI solutions across major sectors in Luxembourg.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analyse client challenges and determine whether proposed AI solutions are technically feasible.
- Assess, score, and rank AI use cases according to business impact and technical complexity.
- Assist in building business cases by defining technical scope, estimating costs, outlining target architecture, and setting project timelines.
- Develop comprehensive Azure AI reference architectures (such as RAG, fine-tuning, AI Agents, MLOps).
- Document current processes and suggest AI-driven redesigns—including intelligent automation and human augmentation.
- Guide clients on reference architecture, highlighting security concerns, AI observability, SDLC, and addressing gaps in technical foundations.
- Supervise Proof of Concept (PoC), pilot programs, and production deployments for Microsoft AI solutions.
- Maintain AI governance by ensuring security, GDPR compliance, Responsible AI principles, and managing risks.
- Support the creation of practice service offerings and methodological frameworks.
- Provide mentorship to junior consultants and technical managers within the team.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- 6+ years of experience in IT/Cloud solution architecture, including 3+ years on enterprise AI projects.
- Proven expertise with the Microsoft Azure AI stack: Azure OpenAI Service, AI Studio, Azure ML, Semantic Kernel, AI Search, Document Intelligence, Microsoft Fabric.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and formalize complex business problem statements and translate them into technical architectures.
- Experience in AI use case assessment and development of technical components for business cases.
- Knowledge of process re-engineering methodologies (BPR, BPMN, Lean) applied to AI projects.
- Proficiency in MLOps / LLMOps practices and enterprise integration architectures (API Management, event-driven).
- Understanding of AI regulation applicable to the Luxembourg financial sector (GDPR, DORA, EU AI Act).
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in French and English (mandatory); German proficiency is an asset.
