In order to continue the expansion of our Financial Services practice, we are currently looking to recruit a Valuation in Audit Manager (f/m).

 

Your mission

 

As a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will be to perform and carry out analyses of valuation of different assets types (e.g. Private Equity, Private Debt, Intangible assets). You will be assessing the reasonableness of valuations and financial models in the context of financial reporting and assurance related engagements.

In your manager role, you will contribute to coaching and supporting more junior team members, as well as participate in recruitment eorts.

You will be working within available budgets and tight timelines while managing your project teams and keeping the engagement partner updated with progress.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in various initiatives with teams across our organisation, on specic topics of interest (eg sector specialization, technical knowledge).

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Graduate from an economics, business and/or management school with a focus in finance;
  • Excellent academic background;
  • At least 5 years of applicable relevant experience (e.g. Private Equity, Transaction services, M&A, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance);
  • Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of valuation principles and techniques (income, market approach) with regards to business valuation;
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solver, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial and autonomous;
  • Strong verbal and  written  communication  skills,  including  the  ability  to  clearly  and  logically  explain valuation matters to clients and colleagues from non-valuation / non-nance backgrounds;
  • Robust quantitative and Excel skills and ability to create nancial models based on client’s strategic nancial business plans, as well as building models from scratch;
  • Sound knowledge of recognized valuation guidelines, such as IPEV guidelines and IVS; 
  • Enjoying working in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Ability to manage multiple threads of tasks and / or engagements;
  • Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines;
  • Perfect command of English, both written and verbally, within a professional services business environment; 
  • Command of French or German language is an asset and additional language would be considered as a plus;
  • Committed to continued professional development (e.g. CFA, CAIA, ACA, RICS…)
