The opportunity
EY’s Legal & Risk Management team is responsible for supporting the business in relation to internal risk management, data protection, legal and compliance requirements. We are currently seeking a solutions-minded manager-level professional to join our dynamic team within the Risk Management function.
- Advising EY partners and professionals on a wide range of policies, procedures and tools to support compliance with regulatory and internal firm requirements.
- Performing risk assessments on client proposals, strategic firm initiatives, marketing and communications publications, operational risks, and ad hoc matters from the business.
- Leading and managing risk management projects and initiatives, including policy and procedure implementation, and digital tools development and deployment. In particular, liaising with key senior stakeholders, tracking the progress and status of projects, and proactively escalating any urgent matters to leadership.
- Providing technical training and raising risk awareness to the business on risk management-related procedures and systems.
- Preparing reports and presenting to firm leadership.
- Delivering training and learning programs to raise awareness of risk management and compliance programs and tools.
- Manage and oversee work of junior team members, as applicable.

Qualifications: eligibility requirements include the following:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a risk management or compliance role, preferably within an audit or professional services firm.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear advice and guidance to the business on policies, rules and regulations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
- Fluent in English. Fluency in French is considered a strong asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preparing reports (Vlookup, pivot tables, etc.).
