The opportunity
EY’s Legal & Risk Management team is responsible for implementing and monitoring the firm’s internal risk management, independence and compliance processes and policies. We are currently seeking a solutions-minded team member to join our dynamic team within the Risk Management function.
- Responsible for coordinating and overseeing internal risk management and compliance processes and projects. In particular, liaising with key stakeholders, tracking the progress and status of projects, and proactively escalating any urgent matters to management.
- Providing technical advice and guidance to the business on risk management policies, procedures and technology tools.
- Preparing reports and presentations to risk management and firm leadership.
- Delivering training and learning programs to raise awareness of risk management and compliance programs and tools.
- Providing ad hoc support to the wider Risk Management team as needed.

Qualifications: eligibility requirements include the following:
- Minimum 2 – 5 years of professional experience in a risk management or compliance role, preferably within an audit or professional services firm.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preparing reports (Vlookup, pivot tables, etc.).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English. Fluency in French is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear advice and guidance to the business on policies, rules and regulations.
- Ability to work individually with less supervision where necessary.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and urgent matters as they arise.
