The opportunity
- Understand business demand and coordinate the firm’s Audit resources efficiently, with a focus on quality, utilization and timely delivery.
- Act as a senior point of contact for planning matters, working closely with engagement teams, managers and leadership to anticipate needs and resolve constraints.
- Drive early engagement in the planning process to align people capabilities, availability and engagement requirements, contributing to a positive employee and business experience.
Your key responsibilities
- Maintain the planning tool and ensure data accuracy, completeness and timely updates across resource bookings, absences, training and engagement changes.
- Identify planning conflicts, assess business impact and propose practical solutions or escalation options where required.
- Support senior stakeholders with resource allocation decisions by preparing clear analyses, summaries and planning insights.
- Contribute to process improvements, including the use of data tools, automation opportunities and AI-enabled solutions to improve planning efficiency.
- Support the integration and orientation of new hires by building planning schedules aligned with business needs, development priorities and availability.
- Review and approve vacation requests in line with planning constraints, business priorities and general guidelines.
- Monitor efficient utilization of auditors’ time and highlight risks, gaps or opportunities for improvement.
- Act as back-up and knowledge support for other Planning team members, sharing good practices and supporting team continuity.
Skills and attributes for success
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in business operations, business administration or similar.
- You bring relevant experience in planning, resource management, workforce coordination, project coordination or a similar operational role.
- You are process oriented, analytical and detail focused, with the ability to understand complex constraints and translate them into practical solutions.
- You are dependable, well organized and flexible. You are comfortable taking ownership, making informed decisions and prioritizing effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- You possess strong communication skills and can interact confidently with managers, engagement teams and other stakeholders.
- You have strong Excel skills, including working with large data sets, formulas, lookups, pivot tables and structured reporting.
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, macros or other reporting and automation tools is considered an asset.
- You have an interest in using AI and digital tools responsibly to improve efficiency, data quality and planning insights.
- You are a positive thinker and a team player, able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- You have a thorough command of MS Office applications, with advanced Excel capability and solid PowerPoint and Word skills.
- You are fluent in English.
