International & Transaction Tax Manager - Commercial Industrial and Public Sector


The opportunity

As part of the International Transaction Tax team, you will provide tax expertise to commercial, industrial, telecommunications, media, technology and public sector clients, encompassing advice on international tax implications for multinational companies in relation, but not limited, to mergers, acquisitions and restructurings including due diligence, transfer pricing and tax modelling.


Your key responsibilities

You analyse potential acquisitions and make recommendations accordingly.

You participate in structuring large transactions relating to strategic acquisitions and divestitures, as part of a multidisciplinary team (attorneys, CFO's, corporate directors, accountants and Tax professionals).

You develop internal relationships within our international network with other EY Tax and financial professionals. You manage client service teams and contribute to people development.

To build up solid technical skills, you will receive internal and external trainings during your first months at EY Luxembourg.


Skills and attributes for success
Your career in Tax enabled you to be exposed to complex Transaction Tax matters in an international environment.


To qualify for the role you must have

  • A university degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in International Taxation
  • An experience oriented towards Commercial companies, Telecommunications, Media, Technology, Service companies or Public Sector
  • Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent language skills in English and French and/or German

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Proven exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence and top results.
  • High interest working in a dynamic and international environment built on a shared culture of team spirit, mutual respect and openness.
  • Work experience in Luxembourg
