Join EY and help to build a better working world.

Your role

You will work alongside experienced consultants on cybersecurity engagements for organizations across different sectors, with particular exposure to financial services, public institutions and regulated environments. You will contribute to real client assignments, participate in workshops and assessments, and help produce clear, practical and client-ready deliverables.

Your key responsibilities

Client Delivery

  • Participate in client interviews, workshops and working sessions.
  • Perform research and analysis on cybersecurity threats, regulations and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare professional reports, presentations, assessments and recommendations.
  • Support project coordination, action tracking and follow-up of remediation plans.
  • Translate technical issues into clear business risks and practical recommendations.

Beyond client delivery, you will actively contribute to the development and growth of our Cybersecurity practice through internal initiatives, including:

  • Supporting the design and continuous improvement of Cybersecurity service offerings in response to market, regulatory and technology developments.
  • Creating and enhancing methodologies, templates, assessment frameworks, accelerators and reusable delivery assets.
  • Conducting market, regulatory and technology research to identify emerging client needs and opportunities.
  • Supporting business development activities, including proposals, credentials, client presentations and go-to-market materials.
  • Contributing to thought leadership, articles, internal training, knowledge-sharing sessions, roundtables, webinars and client events.
  • Capturing lessons learned and good practices to improve the quality, efficiency and consistency of delivery.
  • Exploring how AI, automation and data analytics can strengthen Cybersecurity consulting services and internal ways of working.

What we are looking for

Education

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Risk Management or a related field.

Skills and mindset

  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and consulting.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as risk management, access control, vulnerabilities, network security or incident management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and information-structuring skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Professional proficiency in English; French is a strong asset.
  • Good command of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Curiosity, rigor, proactivity, teamwork and willingness to learn in a client-facing environment.

Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, DORA or NIS2 is an advantage. Exposure to tools such as Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk or Microsoft Defender is also considered an asset.

What you will learn

  • Gain practical experience on real cybersecurity consulting engagements.
  • Build knowledge across governance, regulation, cyber resilience and technical security.
  • Develop client-facing, workshop facilitation, analysis and presentation skills.
  • Learn how cybersecurity risks are assessed, prioritized and communicated to management.
  • Contribute to the development of services, methodologies and business development initiatives.
  • Explore career paths across GRC, cyber resilience, IAM, technical security and security strategy.

The profile we value

We are not looking for someone who already knows everything about cybersecurity. We value someone who is curious, rigorous, proactive and eager to learn, who enjoys understanding how things work and is comfortable challenging existing approaches. You should be interested not only in technology, but also in how cybersecurity enables organizations to manage risk, build resilience and create trust.
