The opportunity

 

Join EY PSA Solutions, a Luxembourg regulated Professional of the Insurance Sector, and contribute to the delivery of compliance, risk and regulatory services to (re)insurance undertakings and insurance distributors.

 

You will support experienced team members on advisory and outsourcing engagements in a highly regulated environment, while developing your technical knowledge and client-facing skills.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Client support & market awareness

  • Support PSA missions in the insurance sector under the guidance of senior team members
  • Contribute to client meetings, workshops and day-to-day interactions with client teams
  • Assist in preparing client materials, proposals and responses to requests for proposal
  • Develop an understanding of EY PSA Solutions offerings, including advisory, managed services and outsourcing solutions

 

Engagement support & delivery

  • Support engagements across governance, compliance, risk and insurance operations
  • Contribute to the preparation of assessments, procedures, policies, control plans and reporting materials
  • Help ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned workstreams with support from managers and senior colleagues

 

Regulatory & technical contribution

  • Develop knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory expectations applicable to the insurance sector
  • Support the production and review of key deliverables such as assessments, procedures, policies, control plans and regulatory reporting materials
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training materials on insurance regulatory topics
  • Maintain clear documentation, audit trails and reporting in line with EY quality standards
  • Support insurance regulatory watch and summarize relevant developments for the team

 

Team collaboration & development

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across risk, audit, compliance and insurance operations
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively seek feedback to develop your skills
  • Contribute to EY quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Interest in insurance, governance, compliance, risk management and regulatory matters
  • Good communication skills and confidence in preparing clear written materials
  • Motivation to develop client-facing skills and technical expertise over time

 

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Master’s degree in finance, business administration, law, economics or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience or relevant internships in insurance/reinsurance, consulting, audit, compliance, risk or regulatory environments
  • Interest in at least one of the following areas:
    • Governance, risk and control, including compliance, risk management or internal audit
    • Insurance operations, including policy administration or claims management
  • Basic understanding of the Luxembourg financial or insurance regulatory landscape is an asset
  • Fluency in English and French; any additional language is an asset

Ideally, you’ll also 

  • Have gained exposure to managed services, outsourcing models or consulting projects through internships or academic projects
  • Show a strong interest in client service, regulatory topics and the insurance sector
  • Be comfortable working with data, documentation and structured deliverables
