Digital Factory - PMO Officer

 

The opportunity

 

We are looking for a talented PMO officer to join our dynamic and rapidly growing IT team. As a PMO Officer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. You will play a key role in establishing and maintaining project management best practices, facilitating effective communication, and supporting project governance. Your exceptional organizational and analytical skills will contribute to the overall success of our projects and the achievement of our strategic objectives within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, task assignments, budget management and resource allocation.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of project management methodologies, frameworks, and standards.
  • Assist in the development of project management templates, tools, and processes.
  • Provide project management guidance and support to project managers and teams.
  • Monitor project performance, tracking key metrics, and generating reports for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with project management processes and procedures.
  • Support the identification and mitigation of project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute taking.
  • Support the implementation of project governance, including project initiation, status reporting, and quality assurance processes.
  • Contribute to lessons learned exercises and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging project management trends.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Project Management, etc.).
  • Previous experience in a project management or PMO-related role.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are desirable.
  • Work experience or internships in the financial services industry or Big 4 is preferred.
  • A fluent command in English. French and/or German is a plus.
